New arrival at Multimodal Ltd

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ryan Lewis who has joined Multimodal as Consultant Modeller.

Ryan joins Multimodal from Pinpoint Visualisation and takes the team, who are based in Longbridge, Birmingham, to five.

With a degree in Computer Games Development, Ryan brings a range of graphical and presentational skills and experience to his new role, including 3D Studio Max, Unity and the Adobe suite from his involvement in creating 3D environments for events such as The Open Championship, The Masters and the Cheltenham Festival.

Luke Best, Managing Director at Multimodal, said: “We are very excited to welcome Ryan to Multimodal. With extensive experience in graphic design and real-time, interactive environments, this latest appointment will allow our business to broaden its offering in this area and bring our design solutions to life with a more accurate representation.

“With a raft of projects, including both mixed-use developments and residential schemes, in the pipeline Ryan will be able to really get his teeth stuck in.”

Ryan joins the business at an exciting time for Multimodal, as the company embarks on a period of growth, increasingly delivering projects of nationally significant importance. With a rising number of schemes requiring the combination of detailed modelling and presentation of results suitable for all audiences and stakeholders, the importance of developing innovative visual project delivery has never been greater.

Established in 2012, Multimodal delivers all elements of microsimulation modelling from concept design testing to fully detailed option modelling and analysis and has firmly established itself in the industry, with steady relationships with other consultancies allowing the undertaking of projects on behalf of high profile clients such as Jaguar Land Rover and Land Securities.

In 2015, the business was partially acquired by leading transport specialists, Phil Jones Associates, after working together on a number of projects including the prestigious Bournemouth Winter Gardens project which involved a complex reorganisation of street hierarchies and transport flows.
